These workshops use evidence-informed wellbeing tools, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), to support employees in regulating stress and anxiety at both a cognitive and physiological level.

These practical sessions provide accessible techniques that work directly with the body’s stress response — helping people feel
calmer, more resourced, and more resilient in real time.

Employees will:

  • Feel calmer and more regulated
Learn practical techniques to reduce stress responses and settle the nervous system during the workday.

  • Improve emotional resilience and coping capacity
Build the ability to deal with and recover more quickly from challenges, setbacks, and high-pressure moments.

  • Increase focus, clarity and presence at work
When stress is reduced, concentration, creativity and decision-making naturally improve.

  • Develop tools they can use independently
Techniques can be used discreetly before meetings, after difficult conversations, or during demanding periods.

  • Feel genuinely supported without pressure to disclose
Sessions are inclusive, trauma-informed, and do not require personal sharing.

"Emily delivered a brilliant workshop for our healthcare professionals at the Macmillan Professionals Conference, tailoring the session specifically to our delegates. It was evident that she had done her research and understood the unique challenges faced by the cancer care workforce.

The delegates thoroughly enjoyed Emily's workshop, and feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They appreciated the interactive and engaging approach that Emily took, which made the session enjoyable and informative. Attendees were able to learn a lot from the session and came away feeling better equipped to handle the challenges they face in their daily work.

In addition to delivering a popular in-person session, Emily also created a pre-recorded video for online delegates, which was equally informative and engaging. Her willingness to accommodate the needs of all delegates, whether in-person or online, was a testament to her dedication to providing an outstanding service.

I would highly recommend Emily to other organisations looking for a knowledgeable, engaging, and professional speaker. Her ability to tailor her presentations to her audience and deliver meaningful insights and strategies makes her an invaluable asset. I look forward to working with Emily again in the future."

EFT TAPPING

designed for your organisation

These workshops are carefully designed to work within professional, mixed-group environments, with clear boundaries and a strong emphasis on psychological safety.

01

Works With Pressure, Not Around It

The tools used don’t require people to step out of their roles or responsibilities. They’re designed to support regulation within busy, demanding work environments.

02

Felt change, not just insight

Rather than focusing on awareness alone, participants experience a tangible shift in how stress shows up in their body — often within the session itself.

03

Easy to use, even on busy days

Techniques are simple, discreet, and practical, making them realistic to use during the working day, not just in ideal conditions.

04

Supports Sustainable Performance

When people can regulate stress more effectively, they recover faster, think more clearly, and engage more consistently over time.

why EFT excels in workplace settings

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) thrives in workplace environments because it supports stress and pressure at the level people actually experience it — in the body, not just the mind.

1. It Regulates Stress in Real Time
EFT helps calm the nervous system during moments of pressure, allowing people to feel more settled, think more clearly, and respond rather than react.

2. It’s Practical, Not Disruptive
The techniques are simple, discreet, and quick to use, making them realistic tools for busy working days rather than something that only works in ideal conditions.

3. It Doesn’t Require Disclosure
People can benefit from EFT without sharing personal experiences or explaining what they’re working on — making it suitable for professional settings and mixed groups.

4. It Supports Recovery, Not Just Coping
Instead of pushing through stress, EFT helps the system settle and reset, which supports sustained focus, resilience, and engagement over time.

Because of this, EFT integrates well into modern wellbeing strategies that aim to support both people and performance— without adding pressure or complexity.

"This year on the secondary PGCE we wanted to focus on the wellbeing of the trainees. Emily delivered a session in September on how to use tapping to manage stress and anxiety whilst at university. Feedback from the trainees was that they really enjoyed the session and valued having tools that they could take away and use whilst on placement. Even in December they are still using tapping as a tool to relieve stress and help focus."

"As a setting we thoroughly enjoyed this training, it was new to us and had valuable tools to use in our day to day lives, as well as teaching children ways to regulate. We have been focusing on children's well being and ways to manage children's emotional and social development, but this gave us tools to teach the children to help them regulate and manage their own feelings in a more hands on way.

Children learn through role modelling new skills, so encourage the adults understanding is a great starting point, reinforcing positive words throughout. This is a great way for adults to learn new strategies and skills.

We found this useful on a personal level, working long days and such a busy varied role can take its toll on you, but having these strategies and different methods to help settle you is great. As well as having the tools to teach the children from a very young age, the skills and ability to calm themselves in the moment. We have already started to use the tapping in the moment, when needed and have bears on the way to mark the tapping points out."

I'm Emily J.

An integrative therapist specialising in stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, and evidence-informed mind–body approaches, including Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

My work sits at the intersection of mental health, nervous system regulation, and workplace wellbeing, supporting people to manage stress and pressure in a way that is practical, ethical, and sustainable.

I’ve delivered wellbeing workshops for corporate organisations, charities, healthcare professionals, and public sector teams, tailoring each session to the specific context, challenges, and people in the room.

My approach is:

  • Evidence-informed and professionally grounded
  • Trauma-aware and psychologically safe
  • Practical, inclusive, and appropriate for workplace settings

Above all, my focus is on delivering wellbeing support that people can actually use — during the working day and beyond.

Over the last few years referrals to mental health services have increased and more people are struggling with anxiety, depression, disordered eating, eating disorders, over drinking and other self-destructive behaviours.

Now it is even more important for schools and workplaces to create a safe environment and equip their people with the tools that they need in order to become mentally resilient.

"I have worked with Emily for over a year now in both our eating disorder workshops, but also our EFT provision. The feedback from every organisation that have experienced Emily's workshops have been superlative - Emily combines fierce professional pride in her work, with compassion, superb knowledge and a great deal of kindness. On a personal note, Emily has also helped me with my difficulties around heights through her fantastic EFT sessions. I would urge anyone reading this to reach out to Emily - be in for workshops, or individual therapeutic support,"

Public Speaking

Emily has appeared on podcasts, hosted workshops and speaking events at festivals, schools and universities as a way to reach out to those who may be struggling with their mental health.

By sharing her own experiences of eating disorders, depression, anxiety and addiction she creates positive conversations about these topics as well as giving hope that there is life on the other side of recovery.

"I believe that everyone can better their own emotional and mental wellbeing if they are given the tools in which to do so."

Sessions can cover a range of topics which can be discussed beforehand.
